# Getting Started

Get oriented in the Kingfisher app, choose a market, open widgets, and build a first workspace.

After signing in, choose a market, open a widget from the sidebar, and arrange a small workspace around the question you want to investigate. The app is a market-analysis dashboard; its charts and model estimates do not place trades or guarantee future price behavior.

## 1. Get oriented

The app header contains the market selector and shortcuts such as Bazar and Referral. The left widget drawer groups Kingfisher widgets under **Liquidations**, **Options Alpha**, and **Money Flow**, followed by **AGGR Widgets**. Use the app’s search control when you already know a widget name.

### Start with the guided tour

Choose **Simple** for a short orientation or **Complete** for the full walkthrough of widgets, menus, and workflows. The **Complete** tour has 18 steps. You can close it and restart it from **Guided tour** in the bottom bar. Use the arrow keys or Back and Next to move through it.

At the wallet step, the tour explains that it does not connect a wallet or approve trading permissions for you. Treat those as separate user actions; the walkthrough can describe a trading workflow without submitting an order.

Select **?** in a widget for a quick explanation of its display and AI prompt.

## 2. Choose a market and add a panel

1. Use **Change market** in the header to select an instrument.
2. Open a widget from its current category. The menu shows access labels where applicable.
3. If the app asks for a placement target, choose a pane location.
4. Check the new pane’s own instrument, timeframe, and filters; some panels have independent controls.

Start with one chart and one context widget. Add more panels only when they answer a separate question. For widget-specific controls, units, and limitations, browse [Kingfisher Widgets](/products/liquidations.md) and [AGGR Widgets](/tools/aggr-widgets.md).

## 3. Arrange and revisit a workspace

The dashboard shows the active workspace name, pane count, and whether the layout is locked. Use the workspace controls and Bazar’s **My Workspaces** or **Manage** views to inspect available layouts and configurations. Preview a community setup before opening it, then check the resulting panes. A preview does not by itself change the active layout.

## 4. Read data with context

Before comparing a value, check its unit, selected market, timeframe, legend, and timestamp when shown. Observed trades, book depth, and modeled estimates are different kinds of evidence. Liquidation and options models are not guaranteed resting orders, price targets, or forecasts.
